The logo consists of a single curved line that grows upwards like a climbing plant, with the words "Landesgartenschau Kleve 2029" next to it. Mariam was inspired by the Kleve Spoykanal. In addition to the actual logo, the winning design comprises an entire design system including a selection of 30 symbols that follow the logo in its unique style. Mariam's design makes it possible to pick up on different themes again and again and to bring all media – from brochures to T-shirts – to life. In this way, the Landesgartenschau remains recognizable and at the same time presents itself in a varied and flexible way.

This project was realized by Mariam Hachem as part of a design project and won first place in the competition held by Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and the city of Kleve. It will visually present the State Garden Show in 2029.

Prof. Christoph Zielke supervised this project in 2024/25.
